    nvs295 to Monitor 2560 x 1080

Hi, I have an LG 25UM56 Monitor, HDMI input, and NVS 295 display card with
display port interface running on Win10. Male on both sides.

I purchased what I thought was an active dongle to translate the display port to
HDMI, but cannot see/get the high resolution its capable of. Win 10 properties
    max out at 1920 x 1080.

What should I buy as a cable to fully utilize this LCD display as its capable of
    2560 x 1080 ?

    Regards, Dana.

So far thats not worked. I have a HDMI cable, marked hi speed, and the "active" adapter HDMI to Display Port dongle,
"active" because I do not see any evidence of silicon in it.

Driver on video card up to data, but for whatever reason when display resolution calls on the
driver for choices, its max resolution not displayed.

    Regards, Dana.

You may need an adapter that supports HDMI 2.0.

    Example: https://www.amazon.com/VisionTek-Pro...70_&dpSrc=srch

I solved it. I had to give control from Windows on display settings to Nvidia Desktop Software.
Then create a custom resolution that matched display capability.

    Thanks for the help.
