There is nothing more to be said. It is up to you to fiddle around with the settings. For me the HD iGPU is more efficient so it does not matter at all.
I don't know why and don't care. It is the same for yours and mine. I happen to have a Media Player it does work on.

I find out the problem: it is on origins (developer's software) of players and GPU's factories. Both dont anytime look/seen one each other and not include it on system to use it (one each other), then on Nvidias control panel, you cant include any video player, no one, neither WMP or VLC. You can include IE or Firefox, that they think that you want play games online. But nothing to video players, a big error, big fail from both, that they forgot that each time or each year, they are a lot of, very big videos sizes, appears, that ordinary video players cant run it on intel graphics set, even it comes best each new edition. Everybody needs to alerts both developers, video-player/GPUs, to include this imperative function on it, that we need it a lot, like users

News about the problem: I contact NVIDIA and had this answer:

"Thank you for contacting NVIDIA Customer Care

This is NVIDIA's assistance, assisting you in troubleshooting the issue that you are experiencing and I will be working with you to address your concerns as quickly as possible.

From the issue description, I understand that you are not able to play High end Bluray Videos from your Dell laptop.

Firstly, I apologize for the inconvenience caused due to the issue. Please be assured that I will do my best to help you further.

I would like to Inform you that you have a Optimus laptop (With Both Intel Graphics and the NVIDIA graphics card). Here the Intel Graphics handles the Display settings and the Video playback, Whereas the NVIDIA graphics handles the gaming/3D video rendering.

Because of this reason, You would be not able to play the videos off of NVIDIA graphics (This is an hardware configuration and there is no way to change this). Also, In Optimus laptop, you would be having access only to "3D settings". You would need to customize the Display settings from Intel Graphics control panel.

In order to play Videos off of NVIDIA graphics card, You would need to have Notebook with Discrete NVIDIA graphics card.

Please feel free to contact us for any further assistance/ clarifications."

But I keeping insist them to fix this problem by software to perform video players by HDMI, that this is possible, yes, and I'm waiting upgrades
