    4th monitor is not working

Hello, I am trying to add 4th monitor but 4th is not working. One is plugged in VGA socket, other HDMI and for 4th I am using display adapter. https://www.maplin.co.uk/p/usb-20-to-dvi-full-hd-adapter-with-vga-and-hdmi-adapters-a98ha

4th monitor is not responding but it's clearly in working condition. 20180113 100007 — imgbb.com (for whatever reason couldn't upload this pic like others) Monitor is on but not responding

    Thank you!

The reviews at Maplin are not very encouraging, appears it doesn't work with Win10

    Try something else.

At time of writing this device has a chip which is 8 years past its end of life and is no longer supported. DisplayLink have no requirement to support the DL-165 chip and will no longer function if you upgrade to Windows 10 Anniversary Update. The description stated XP and above but if you are using with Winodws 10 you may get caught out. DisplayLink may release a updated driver in coming months but no guarantee. Approach with caution depending on the OS you are using.

I'm using display link on my laptop. One thing that I noticed is if the incorrect resolution is set, the display will not work, it just stays blank. It was an issue for me in the early days of Windows 10. I had to manually set it to the correct value. These days though, I just connect my monitor and wait a bit. Windows 10 installs the driver all by itself and my monitor becomes usable. Might be one reboot in there, can't remember?

Depends on the monitors really. I only run two on my laptop. The built in display and one USB DisplayLink monitor. I have an HDMI out, but I think that's it? I don't think there is a VGA out? Some laptops have optional docking stations that support more monitors. The quick answer to your question is likely "an expensive one".
