Just to update you guys - The computer has not woken up since the last post. It sleeps every night and several times a day in between me using it. I'm sure it will wake on it's own again as I have not changed any settings yet. When it does I will check the logs again and post my findings. I think Pirx was correct in his last post......it's on to me.

Thanks Cromax but I use Logitech which has wake-up disabled.

Just kidding, of course. I'm curious as to what you find. Sorry, I know this one must annoy the heck out of you, but for the independent observer it's interesting.
My little OptiPlex does that too but since it's my back-up computer I'm not going to try to correct it.

Thanks a lot guys for sharing.

    Halfway there!

Was having a similar issue and HID keyboard and mouse were enabled. Other parameters are OK.

Now it works, but won't wake-up with keyboard and/or mouse. Only when clicking half a second on the power switch.

    Any idea?

I still have that problem too on my xpx8920 dell. Go into power options, uncheck hybrid sleep. That worked last time but someone in here said I have to go into the BIOS to make another change............let me know.

    Thanks for replying,

Allow hybrid sleep was On. Same issue when Off. Power option is set to high performance.
I don't see anything in BIOS...

The popular opinion is that high performance is useless, kinda' like running around with the pedal to the metal when you could just step on the gas when you need it. Do a search to find that guy with the BIOS info. He said something about selecting wake mode in there, I need to fix mine soon also. Uncheck hybrid and hibernate modes.

Sorry, that info was in the Dell desktop forum, here is a paste from there; Reboot and *immediately* press F2 to open BIOS setup.
Find the USB Wake Support (S3) option and set it to Enabled. Don't change anything else in BIOS setup but be sure to save the change to Wake Support before exiting setup.

Not working on an HP desktop. Previous bug was that sleep mode would reset to login screen almost immediately (10-15sec).

Now it works = power led is flashing, but wake-up only when pressing shortly the power switch. Keyboard and mouse seem to be dead.

    Thanks for help,
