Windows 10 Loop
I have only had my new desktop pc for 5 months. It was running Windows 7 pro and until my trouble started I did not have a problem using it from new.
I updated all my drivers then I did a windows update for all the new updates which included the new windows 10 upgrade. The new windows 10 upgrade seem to go alright and I then logged in and started to my desktop pc.
After using it for awhile the monitor went blank my hard drive red light went out and the cpu fan carried on running for a few seconds then stopped. The red hard drive light then came on the cpu fan started and I was briefly taken to my log in screen before it happened again and again until I held in the on/off button until it switched off. After that sometimes started the pc up it would produce the same problem when I reached the log in screen so I never had a chance to log in. When the problem happened and the hard drive red light came back on it did not perform a full reboot it just did something that looked like it was coming out of sleep mode.
At the moment my computer is back with my supplier in Germany who says that they cannot find any problems with the pcs components so it looks like a windows 10 upgrade issue? They are going to reinstall windows 7 pro back on to the computer before they return it to me.
Please note I have installed Windows 10 on 2 other computers that I own without any problems happening so far!!
Has anyone seen this problem before or know what to do to resolve this problem when I get my computer back from the supplier?
