    Opening pic on screen too big....


    Finally given up trying to find how ro reduce the size of a pic on the start up screen, the one that shows the date and time.....

    Appreciate any help thanks. :)

    Do you mean a tile on the start screen (start menu)? Or something else...

    Maybe someone can guess.. a screenshot or a photo would be helpful.

    It's the background pic on the page that automatically displays the date and time when first switching on in the mornings....

    Reduce the dimensions of the original in Paint or an online program (like PicResize.com ) to match your display resolution and save as a Copy unless you want to replace original. Then browse to this new picture in Settings/Personalization/Lock screen drop down menu.

    = the Lock Screen then.

    The laptop is not high res - just a 1366 x 768 display, so that shouldn't be a problem.. can you confirm you are using your own picture?

    Yes using my own picture but I think you could be right about lock screen if I could find it.... :)
