Everything should work in clean boot. Clean boot turns all non-Microsoft services on boot. When you want to use a service you can launch it.
It is similar to walking in a room and having a light switch for all electrical items in the room to go on at once or to walk to each item and turn it on. All of the non-Microsoft services will work: its just a matter of turning them on when you need them.
So clean boot will have the fastest boot times. Over time the best option is selective boot. It's between clean boot and normal boot. The top 3 or 4 items that you use regularly launch on boot. This will lengthen a little bit the boot time but then you wont have to wait to launch the most frequently used non-Microsoft services.

OK...as I had said my system is NOT in Normal Startup but has always been in selective startup, so I will continue with your instructions but as I said it Never was in Normal Startup.

Well here is the current status.
First, the system no longer restarts after a shutdown. It has not happened in a while now, but after it has been on for 6 hours or so, it still reboots while browsing!

Also, it has updated to 1709 and there was no change.
I do have images and ran CLEAN BOOT with no improvement. When this happens I get this in the Event Viewer.

So, it was suggested that I next try Safe Mode with Networking, but should I undo the changes I made for Clean Boot first? Can this be something like Memory errors or would that not be a Kernal-Power issue?
    Thank you all for helping!

When evaluating computers problems may be caused by software conflicts or problems with hardware.
Clean boot should eliminate most software conflicts.
Safe mode should help differentiate software from hardware problems.

The computer can be in normal boot, selective boot, or clean boot before switching to safe mode.
When you choose safe mode it can be with or without command prompt or with or without networking.

So I guess that I can leave my system as is and go to safemode with networking. Not sure my ZIP would change. Anyway the easy way to get to safemode is a restart holding the shift key.

Could it be your anti-virus/firewall configured to scan something on reboot? Knew of someone who had their security program do a reboot and scan (during reboot only before the desktop appears) of problem files or USB drives.

I do not think so. This issue happens after the system has been running for hours and it thinks there is a kernal power or reboot issue.

Well, I had to roast coffee so sorry for the delay.
If I start Safe Mode by using the shift restart option and select with Networking, will it continue in this mode unless I change it or will it boot normally the next time it boots?

It will boot normally each time unless you hold down the shift key and click restart.

Please update your progress with the steps in post #29.
    Which steps have been completed?
Please post the results into the thread.

Well, as I had said, the Clean Boot did not help so I did not post a New Zip. I am going to try Safe Mode. One thing I am not sure of is if, after 6 hours + it reboots if I click something else in a browser, or if the same would happen just because it is powered on. Too bad I can not make it come up in safe mode from a power on, but I guess that is not needed.

Well, I am not in safemode yet but I was ripping a cd with WMP and it was OK, but when I tried to finish it rebooted. It seems like it may be a TIME issue and not the fact that I was using a browser. Still, do you think it could be RAM? I can try 1 at a time as I have 2 matched 8GB sticks.
