    Remove the people icon from the taskbar Creators Update


    Does anyone know how to remove it, I take it its some kind of chat program.

    Just right click the taskbar and uncheck "show the people" button.

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Go to Personalization - ->Taskbar.
    3. On the right, scroll down to the People section.
    4. Disable the option Show people on the taskbar to hide the icon.

    And there are some additional settings under Settings / Personalization / Taskbar

    OK I removed it, I do not like it when stuff appears on the task bar with out me putting it there.

The interest here is use as little space as necessary when you want multiple icons on the task bar. Can the text be edited to either remove/hide it? i.e. can IHeartRadio be shortened to iHR or just not show any text? Right now using FF the text...
