Yesterday I had a Flash update and the icons on the right side of the task bar are now so small I can't even tell what they are and icons beside menu items very small. Regular taskbar buttons are normal size. I uninstalled that update but the problem persists. I have attached a Snip to show you the problem.

Does nobody have an answer to my problem? Gordon tried and I appreciate it but that didn't work as that button was already turned off so I'm hoping someone can help. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's very annoying not to be able to see them.

Since only the notification area seems to be affected, you might see if resetting the notification area icons may be able to help.

Oh BRINK!!! Thank you. This worked and I am keeping this tutorial in case this should happen again. It was the flash update that caused the problem but it's all good now thanks to you pointing me in the right direction. I bow to you sir. and now I am doing the happy dance.

You may have too many icons in the Notification area. You don't need Documents, Music, Pictures etc. Right click a blank spot on the desktop, choose Personalize/Taskbar/Select Which Icons appear on the taskbar. Turn off some of them.
