Export Folder View Settings from Windows 10 Registry
I've been trying to export my folder view settings from the registry so I can port the settings to any new Windows 10 installs or just whenever Windows decides to reset them.
I tried using an application called Regshot to make a snapshot of the registry, change a setting, and make a 2nd snapshot and compare, but didn't have much success, as seemingly unrelated reg values were changing.
The one setting I did find was thanks to this website: Change Folder Template in Windows 10 Customization Tutorials which allows all folders to show up as Details view, but it is only one piece of the puzzle.
Attached screenshot is how I have my folder view setup and want exported.
These are the settings that I would like to know the associated registry files for:
-Folder dimensions (I have it set to 800x600, as shown in the attached screenshot)
-Column order (In the attached screenshot it's shown in the order of Name > Size > Type > Date Modified)
-Colum width (Basically only the Name column is made wider with the other 3 left the default size.)
I've managed to find the Advanced Folder View settings under [HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-4045222575-3152731927-3735503414-1001\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced] so I think those are all set for me.
Any help would be appreciated.
