OK, ran into an error msg after bootrec /fixmbr
move to the second group of commands
type bcdedit /export c:\bcdbackup
type attrib c:\boot\bcd -h -r -s
type ren c:\boot\bcd bcd.old
type bootrec /rebuildbcd
That was the prior group.
Please post the new group.
Boot to the windows 10 iso.
Place the Windows 10 iso into USB3 or USB2 port
Download Windows 10
Boot to the external USB hard drive or windows 10 iso
List of PC brands with their corresponding hot-keys
1) insert bootable windows 10 iso into USB port
2) power on and repetitively click the F12 key
3) boot to the windows icon
4) it may take 5 - 10 minutes to load
5) choose language, time, currency, and keyboard
Crap. I'm using a Chrome Book and it isn't formatting the USB correctly. Suggestions?
