I did it yesterday but was 16299.15 if look at the setup file on the ISO not 16299.19, before the fall updates version

Not available yet i tried through MCT yesterday. Thanks
I don't think you need to worry about .19 it gets installed automatically during the upgrade procedure - But that is assuming that you have an open internet connection during the update !

Not worried i may have wanted to do a clean install of 16299.19 or just have that version ISO for repair. Would not want to go through installing Oct. 17 update after it again

I've just tried to install the Fall creators update several times on a Gigabyte GA-Z170XP-SLI motherboard, Intel i7-7700, Video Adapter NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (8 GB). I've tried both Windows update & the latest Fall update ISO to install. Any method I try fails at the point it checks for incompatible software & tells me to manually uninstall Infineon TPM Professional Package. I cannot find a trace of it anywhere ( and I mean anywhere) on my system to uninstall. Device manager reports a Trusted Module Platform 2.0 under security devices & I have even tried uninstalling that, but it made no difference. Checked the Microsoft answers page, it seems plenty of others have the same problem, but Microsoft's workaround is basically to save your files & do a clean install or reset.

All previous updates / upgrades have gone whistlingly on this system & I have successfully updated a similar spec, but amd rig, with the fall update.

Anyone had the same problem and or suggestions....I'd be much obliged (and a few others!) to see your thoughts

I upgraded on the 17th using the Update assistant, nice and easy. As of yet, I can find any issues or problems. The system is running very smooth. In fact, in the three months I had W10, all versions I used (1607, 1703 and now 1709) have felt pretty good. I am very happy with W10.

I tend to think that some of the things I dont do that most people do in their computers kind of help into making my computer experience positive. For one, I only change in Windows whats easy to change. I try to play along the system, not against the system. Another thing thats important is that I don't install reinstall programs all the time. Pretty much my computers are you get them new, you know what you want in them, install the programs and then is set and forget. Like my new W10, i installed a few programs after buying it and haven't installed anything else or switched programs around since when it was 2 days old. I know this is boring for some, but it works.

And last, if I was using an antivirus, I would be using Windows defender. It works very nice in W10. But people install this AV, and then switch to another one and before they know it, they testing another one. And on top of that, they install an anti exploit and anti this and anti that, and the conflicts start to appear, and it becomes messy, specially when is time to update W10. I avoid this mess.

@Bo, That's my problem always uninstalling/reinstalling programs, but gonna stop that, as after the trouble I went thru to get Pro Reactivated, lesson learned, as was forced into clean install since had some other errors, and issues, over the course from 1703 to 1709, Got a newer PC, did a clean install soon as got it, had trouble activating Pro immediately, but finally got it, Then used Avast for a few weeks, then Defender, then back to Avast, perhaps why I have freeze ups on phone at times to, since I tend to switch a lot of programs on that lol.

Think i'll do fresh factory reset on phone in coming days, clean up PC some, and then don't uninstall/reinstall a lot of junk after that

My laptop didn't upgrade to the CU via Windows Update until last week. The FCU is being installed now - go figure! I hope all goes well since I can't defer updates using Home.
