    Find a File on this computer


    In the days of XP and Win 7 I could do a search of files/folders in my computer looking for the concurrence of a particular word in a file, or within a time frame etc
    How can this be achieved in Win 10? If I do a search now (magnifying glass) it does not find files I know do exist on the hard drive.

    Click on Search in File Explorer and then when Search Tools/Search appears in Ribbon, click advanced options
