    Nice way to do it.

I agree we have an understanding now. A quick tutorial on this would be nice (especially toolbars - never used them before), or else this post will fade to lower pages.

    For taskbar toolbars: :)
Some notes in Shut Down Computer in Windows 10 and Restart Computer in Windows 10 about the changed behaviour since 1709 would help too. Feel free to include any (or none) of my summary :)

Is there a registry tweak we can change this behavior in, or can we modify the start binary? Or disable the bookmarking entirely?

This happened to me the first day after updating to the fall creators. A problem I have specifically set to NOT start at startup started at startup. Presumably because it was running before the reboot. I thought this was a new feature that wasn't supposed to be rolled out until the next major update.

And i thought Microsoft couldn't be any more annoying at this point with their useless features. From all other stupid features so far, this is by every means the worst. It is anti-consumer not to let us choose, and can be a great security risk for people like me that NEED a completely NEW session every time they start. This is typical consumer-hostility from Microsoft. @-Microsoft You are NOT doing us any favor of forcing these "seamless" features onto us, quite the opposite.

I hope there can be found a fix for it asap, i looked through the entire Group Policy Editor, but i found nothing, so whoever has a better idea, please, share it with us.

I didn't find anything in the feedback hub about this, so i created a entry. Please up-vote so we can get attention to this.

Workaround was described earlier in this thread. Just don't use shutdown from start menu, use alternate ways.
