Add Shut down Context Menu in Windows 10 Customization Tutorials

That worked like a charm to me. I will now right click and click on "Shutdown PC and prepares it for fast startup." But hopefully in the future, they will add that as an option to toggle on and off quick shutdown and quick startup for the next version of Windows 10. My mom's Acer PC doesn't even beep on startup anymore by clicking that button.

I hate Microsofts idea of a quick shutdown, as technically, the system doesn't really "log off your user account". It basically saves your session. I do not like this and may go back to 1703. This is more of broken functionality than an improvement. Shame on you MS.

Is it possible with this Context menu to shut down normally, Clean Shutdown and when switching PC back on it restarts normally,..i.e without this Fast Bootup?

Is this a new feature, or a bug?
No, just another one of those harebrained half-broken misfeatures that are the hallmark of Windows 10.

To try to change this function (back to normal operation) we have to "play" with the internal code!
This is best don in a virtual machine and should be tested out first, before we can apply it to a working PC
that have to run without problems, for everyday work! Be patience until that is don.

Have four systems with FCU but re-opening apps never happen to me. Made some investigations and found that Classic Shell blocks this behavior:

    - if I use Restart option from Windows Start menu, IE & Task manager & Wordpad open automatically after logon

    - if I use Restart option from Classic Shel Start menu, no app opens automatically after logon.

So here is one simple workaround: install Classic Shell & be happy.

Of course you can more simply just close down your apps manually before reboot or shutdown or use the same function used by Classic shell directly without having to run the whole thing

It should not be possible to open two instances of Task Manager, but this new 'feature' makes it so. The first is reopened by Windows on a restart, the second by a .bat file in my Startup folder that I use to start Task Manager minimised at sign in.
