It broke the lock screen for me. I was using a custom picture as the background but it now defaults to my Windows background colour, in spite of my setting it properly in Personalization. Other than that - good so far.
Device Manager is part of the Computer Management Console and has direct links to many important system control programs including the one you miss. You can create a shortcut to this console and from their select Device Manager or whatever else you may need. How to create this short cut from the desktop environment: right click an unused area on your desktop, select new in the drop down pane, select shortcut in the next drop down pane and type or copy and paste this link: %windir%\system32\compmgmt.msc /s into the create shortcut window that opened click next in that window, name your shortcut, click finish and your shortcut should appear on your desktop. You can keep that on your desktop or in your start menu or both.
Lost all my microsoft games that were downloaded such as Mahjong, can't find same Microsoft games apps; lost various apps that were on my start menu. Also lost Xbox icon, and Microsoft store icon that was on my taskbar. But both will still come up I click on where they were showing on same.
