    How to pin exact file to start window


    Hey Guys,

    i would like to PIN exact Invoice.xlsx to my start window but i can't. I only know how to pin excel as an app but i need to pin exact my Invoice.xlsx when i right click on it i do not have option to pin it.

    Please help.

    Place a shortcut in the following ‘Hidden’ folder:

    Code:
    %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
    Now open Start Menu > All apps and locate the shortcut you placed. Right-click on it and select Pin to Start.

    That should work. Personally I prefer to pin Excel itself to Start (or the taskbar). A right-click on Excel then brings up the jump list of recently opened documents, with the ability to pin any of them to this jump list.
