An unexpected error is keeping you....

    Computer help!
I'm trying to save images from the internet (Mainly Firefox) on my USB to that location, but it keeps saying "This location on Disk... is full. Choose another location and try again."

My USB is 32; almost 10 GB space is full.

Evening when I'm trying to move the file, it says "An unexpected error is keeping you from moving the file/folder. If you continue to receive this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this problem." Error 0x80070052.

I would appreciate it if someone could help me with this problem; but I went to bed, it was fine and now it's starting again.

    Hi LadyTech,

Have you scan the USB flash drive for errors if not open the Command Prompt as a administrator and type below command:

    Code:
    Chkdsk X: /f
Replace X: drive letter with USB flash drive letter.

Fat file system has a limit on how many files/directories can be created in the root. I think it was limited to 510 files/directories in the root.

Hi Just a idea copy off the data that you need to keep from the USB Drive and then reformat the USB Drive (make sure you empty the recycle bin)

I did that just now and now it says, "Windows has made corrections to the file system."

I meant to say Fat32 has a limit on how many files/directories can be created in the root.
