Yeah, now this start making sense. But as always MS doesn't think about people who don't wanna use OneDrive.

Same with me... I'm using version 10.0.16299.19. Looks like a bug

Was looking if other people have the same issue. Glad I'm not the only one. Despite that this "feature" doesn't prevent things from working, it does bug me. It just looks and feels wrong. My guess would be that some registry key need modification. The question remains which those would be.

    Welcome to TenForums @Jhonny8bit,

My guess is it's not in the registry, but hard coded into explorer.exe to leave space for an extra OneDrive icon as Hanabishi in post #22 suggested. As you say, doesn't stop anything working, just looks odd.

if someone else needs to hide useless folders just change names hereHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\
for example put minus before name -{3dfdf296-dbec-4fb4-81d1-6a3438bcf4de} and F5 in explorer after changing

and maybe someone already find solution for topic problem?

This does not fix the issue.

    SPAM

I think I have been able to find a fix (works for me) :)
Replace ExplorerFrame.dll in %windir%\System32 with this one (source, third post):
    MEGA
You will have to take ownership of the original file so that you can rename it to something else and copy the new file.
