good day i just installed win 10 fall update and have run into one issue which is i cannot open most items in the control panel, rightclick on pc and clicking properties does not open the properties page, had to fix gpedit. i am assuming all of this in interrelated since i'm having no issues with anything else. after 3 separate searches i'm out of ideas so i'm asking if anyone knows other than sfc what options do i have for fixing this? thanks
Did you clean install? If so, where did you get the ISO?
fixed, installed malwarebytes and it found a couple of trojans in a program i was testing.

Glad to see you got that fixed. Side note: Even if you don't have the paid version of MBAM, it's a good idea to scan the installer file with MBAM before trying to install. Particularly true if you are testing out something you're not quite sure of. :) Lots of wolves out there................

normally i have bitdefender total security and malwarebytes in before i install anything. and i always manually scan everything with both before install. this time i just had bdts installed. as they say no app catches everything.
