    New windows open behind original active after windows 10 upgrade


    I have two win 10 PC behaving the same way after downloading manually the recent complete upgrade from Microsoft. I have looked at all the info here and elsewhere and checked ForgroundLockoutTime etc. with no success. New screen just open behind. One program even flashes other Programs that are behind the active window through the active window while loading the new window until the new windows is completely loaded, then is hidden behind the active window. Security notifications are hidden which are normally placed boldly on top of absolutely everything.

    Has anyone got a solution.

    Hello, if you search the forum you will find this unfortunate problem has been raised several times, and doesn't only apply to Win 10.

    As far as I know, the only 'solution' (not a fix) posted here is to clean install, which is not what anyone wants to hear.

    However, this is worth researching further as perhaps someone has found a fix by now.

Photo files opens in old Photo Viewer. How to return OPEN the original application Photos ? I tried: to restore the default application and association file. No change, thank you.
If, for example, I click on a file in Explorer, the file opens under the existing window rather than on top as it normally does. This has been happening for several weeks. I've learned that it's an issue with Windows 7, but none of the fixes...
