    search not working from computer

The search is no longer working from computer (aka my computer in older versions of windows). It works from everywhere else like the C drive, desktop, and my documents. I have already rebuilt my index. What do I need to do to fix this?

    I am attaching a screenshot.

Hi COKEDUDE. Welcome to the TenForums @COKEDUDE

Can I ask what version and build you are running?

Windows key + R, type winver, enter.

Are you running any kind of software to modify Windows, something like Classic Shell.

Normally, at least for me, the Computer tag has been replaced with the label "This PC" and I usually see Quick Access and not the label "Favorites". Seem to be throwbacks to Win 7. These may have been a mod you made in Registry??

Not that I know of. Any other programs that you can think of that would do this?

I took the brutal approach and did a windows refresh. Hadn't done that in awhile and it felt great.

You need to clean up your hard drive. It is dangerously full and needs to be cleaned before you lose all of your data.

    What he said...

Jesus, your drive is more full than me after having a "Taquiza"... Try to clean it up, with Disk Cleanup utility or the tools in Storage Section from Settings app. After that, ensure the Windows Indexing Service is running in Task Manager, feels to me like if the service is not running, hence, you can't search anything in libraries, except for normal folders.
