Faily Settings Seem to be preventing me from adding a new user

This is really stupid, But I cannot add a specific (Microsoft account based) user to any of my PC`s.

This is my kids account, she was setup in my Microsoft family, I have now removed her as I`m sure I had this issue before, and had to remove her as a workaround to get the account added to a new machine.

I have tried, control panel and modern settings to add the user, and neither works.

In modern settings, when I add her outlook.com account I get the error "We cant add a user to the device at this time. Its probably our fault. Please try again"

If I try to add a local user and then associate it with the same outlook.com account, I get the error "[email address] is here already - Another user on this device used this Microsoft account, so you cant add it here"

Could someone please guide me to sort this out? Thanks!

Hi, did you follow the procedure here in removing the account originally?

Yes, that's what I have done.

Still no understanding at all why I cannot add this child account to the machine.

These issues are being experiences across more than one W10 PC, so this isn't a client specific issue.

EDIT:: This issue was down to the way I have my profiles setup.

I run standard accounts for all my Microsoft account users, and a local admin account for maintenance.

This setup doesn't support the addition of family members, as the admin which is adding the family member to the machine must have a Microsoft account from the family group associated with it.
