    Language bar is missing

I did a clean install of Windows 10 not long ago and now my language bar is missing. In addition, the alt-shift shortcut for changing keyboard layouts does not work. I have checked all my control panel settings and also added a registry entry to launch ctfmon.exe, as per the instructions here, but I still have the problem. Can anyone suggest a solution? Thanks!

Edit: The problem only occurs with one account. When logged into my troubleshooting account I can see the language bar.

    Try this?
windows 10 - Language bar missing - Super User
If I hover over mine I see a tool tip telling me to use Windows key + space to change keyboard layout...

    Thanks for your reply!

It seems to have fixed itself but I'm having a hard time working out what I did to make that happen. I seem to remember removing one of my two languages earlier today, but I'm not quite sure if I did or not. In any case the language is still there and is now showing in the taskbar. And the keyboard shortcut is working now. So I guess I mark this thread as mysteriously solved.
