    Brink...One HP Envy I'm looking at isn't 7th gen, and those on your link look smaller than 15.6"

    Don't get too hung up on exact specs. There is no noticeable difference, especially to a non-nerd, in a sixth generation i7 to a seventh. If you can get a six gen one for less money, there's no reason to avoid it.
