Windows 10 blank screen with cursor on startup

Hello, my pc has recently failed a windows software update and cannot boot into the OS. I have looked up this problem and tried many solutions but so far nothing has worked. The only thing I haven't tried is Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) simply because I have no idea how to access it. My pc is part of my job and I am in desperate need of it. Hopefully there is a solution.

Hi KazerCore and welcome to Tenforums.

Please fill in your system specs as much as possible, as it helps us to help you. Click on the My Computer tab below your username, then Update your system spec, and fill in what you can.

    1) What is the history of the drive?
    2) Are there any known drive problems?
    3) Is the drive a HD or SSD?
    4) Are your files backed up?
    5) Had you made a backup image?
    6) When you power on
    a) do you hear the fan?
    b) do you hear the drive?
    c) do you hear any beeps?
    d) do you see any lights?
    7) What do you see on the monitor?
    only a black screen?
    8) find a few flash drives that you can format
    9) use 1 of the flash drivers to create a bootable windows 10 iso:
    Download Windows 10
    10) Are you using windows 10 version 1511, 1607, or 1703?
