My last day with Windows 10

The problem with a consensus of opinion about computers is that we never hear from those who have no problems for their usage.
Exactly! I've had absolutely no problems with my machine. NONE. (well, lol....... none that weren't MY fault ) Sometimes I find it amazing the problems I see others writing about either because I've not had that problem and/or I can't duplicate the problem to offer a solution. Venting now I guess, and NOT implying this applies to the OP's problem, But I sometimes wonder why people feel the need to slam something they don't like. You don't like it, DON'T USE IT no need to talk bad about something. ESPECIALLY on a forum that's dedicated to solving the problems that DO arise. Our sister forum , sevenforums, has multiple threads proclaiming how terrible Win10 is which is hard for me to understand. Not only am I very happy with 10 (my PERSONAL OS of choice) but its worked like a charm for me even on machines that the OEM states are NOT ready for 10. (I'm looking at you Dell ) I would never go back to 7 or Vista or XP or ME or 95 etc , but I don't go to sevenforums and start a thread about how much I hate them or how crappy they are/were. Are there things I don't like about 10? Sure, just as there's been things about EVERY other OS I've ever used. There are no "perfect" things in this world and I think its unrealistic to expect perfection from an OS. You want/need "perfection" and your OS to be totally in sync with you and your lifestyle? Learn to code and make your own!

This is not a matter of OS. It's a matter of M$...

There are a gazillian combinations of install hardware and programs. It would be surprising to not hear of problems you've never experienced. And since Microsoft actually does do testing (with a lot of customers helping out) it would be surprising if the unusual were common. (Well, if they were common, they wouldn't be unusual, I guess. :))

"Don't use it"? Well, from the subject line of this thread, I think that is exactly what the OP has decided to do.
For some of us that use 3rd party software that is not much of an option. The supported OS options are often Windows and Mac. "Don't use it" means "Use Mac"? No thank you.

I don't think the OP was complaining about a lack of perfection. He was complaining about things that prevented him from doing what he needed to do.

I don't blame you: you certainly shouldn't have to upgrade hardware on your computer every year or so and I agree it isn't a Legacy card.
If you haven't checked this out, maybe sooner or later it'll be worth checking it out:
Drivers | GeForce
Yea.. I don't want to upgrade the video card driver because the last time I did that, the quality of the video card turned to s***, honestly, complete s***. Everything became blurry, I tried doing so many different fixes, yet it stayed that way. Nothing helped it.
So I don't want to take the risk of updating it, and if ever needing to revert, I'd have to find this exact driver online. Rollback will not work, like it didn't last time. I'm not going to upgrade it.
I'll just wait for the new Fall update and hope that, no offence, Microsoft actually hired people who actually paid attention in college, not (NO OFFENCE...) Indians who never went to school in the United States.

I fully understand the myriad combinations of hardware/software out there. Take a look at the forums though............ see any patterns? Over 60% of the problems are the same old same old. Been that way since I started helping out in these kind of forums over 10 years ago. (see ComputerTechGuy, HowtoGeek, sevenforums and a couple others I may be able to remember sooner or later)
"Don't use it", EXACTLY if you can't work it and won't learn how to fix it , then YES USE SOMETHING ELSE. I use much 3rd party software, have over 70 3rd party programs on my machine at the moment and that's after a purge of little or seldom used software. Again, if you can't run it and won't learn it, use something you CAN use. Can't stand Apple products myself but if that's all you can use and you want to use a computer then besides a Linux distro or mac you don't have many choices. So put some effort into it and FIND OUT HOW TO FIX what you don't like.
Exactly again, most people know that there are very few "perfect" things out there of anything! So...... if I can't figure out how to work the back up camera on my car then I should write Ford and slam/complain that all their stuff sucks? Again, If there is something you don't like, then FIX IT. There's no call to come into a forum dedicated to a specific O.S. and trash it just because there are things about it you don't like or don't know how to use or fix. If the OP had came here asking for help, there are a LOT of very talented people here ready and eager to help. But that's not what he did is it? Nope , "10 sux and I'll never use it again", doesn't help a bit now does it?
