Windows 10 not moving past boot screen

    Hi,
My computer won't move past the boot screen during boot. Every time I boot it, it goes theough the boot screen (spinning dots etc.), then the keyboard and mouse lights turn on. But the screen flickers, and it shows up the same screen again, but the silpinning dots are more laggier. The mouse is fully visible and responds to input, and the computer boots properly, as the boot log doesn't show any hanging. It worked yesterday, and nothing new was installed, just browsing the web. Safe mode boots fine, and I have tried to set it to clean boot, but the problem persists.
Even if the boot was somehow taking long, which it shouldn't on an i7 system with a SSD, then why is the mouse responding, and keyboard lights coming up?
    I'm confused,
    Ali

EDIT: Wiping and re-installing Windows, or even a refresh is not an option, as I have too many programs, games, and VMs that would take days to reinstall, and I have many programming and rendering projects due next week.

Do you have any USB devices connected say external hard drive &/or wireless mouse/keyboard? If so try removing them then restarting to see if boot continues.
Do you have nVidia graphics? It's possible there was an auto update to the driver which has affected boot.

I have a GTX 760, and only a USB WIFI card connected. I doubt they're the problem, but I'll check, although, I manually updated to the latest driver 2 days ago, and have used it since. It's just this morning that this problem occurs.

I have a feeling that there may be some form of malware on the computer, as it's responding to input on the "boot screen", which shouldn't happen. I think that there is a program overlaying the login screen, preventing me from logging on. Running Malwarebytes on safe mode yields nothing.

If it's any help, I can boot into Hackintosh Sierra fine, whith NVidia web drivers.

Yep, it was the Nvidia driver, version 328.33. Uninstalled it through safe mode, and I'm back in.
    Thanks.
