I now have an ISO of Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro but will wait and see if GWX updates my first system.

Anyone have any idea when Pro / enterprise ISO's will be ready in Volume Licensing Service Center?

    Hi there

IMO CREATE the ISO then use RUFUS to convert to USB. The reason for this is once you've got the ISO you can then create multiple USB sticks for upgrading / installing to several machines and saving an entite download for each machine you want to install on.

It's quite legal as you have to use valid serial numbers for installing anyway.

Enterprise VL licensing should be ready soon -- no idea when - I suspect Ms wants to kick off with Home users first as I suppose the I.T admins at Enterprise versions will need to do some testing / sysprepping etc etc first.

    Cheers

Found some info on the enterprise version:

We encourage businesses to start evaluating, piloting and deploying Windows 10 today. IT administrators can test their business applications and start their deployment planning now by downloading and installing the free 90-dayWindows 10 Enterprise Evaluation. Starting August 1st, our Software Assurance customers can download Windows 10 Enterprise from Microsoft Volume Licensing site.

    Hi

Can anybody confirm whether the ISO created with "Media Creation Tool" includes the day one patch or not ?. Do we still need to download and install the 1 GB update ?.

    Isn't it only a 500mbish patch?

    http://www.winbeta.org/news/day-one-...download-links

The day one patch is less than 500MB, but expands to over 1GB of improvements when applied to the system. The day one update fixes bugs, and improves underlying system code for consumers, hopefully making the upgrade experience smooth and general operating system performance better.

It's vanilla RTM... you can do WU afterwards to get up to date.

    - In fact I'm busy integrating all patches into MSDN ISO.

What sysprep.exe command lines do you usually use? normally we use MDT to build images but since the new version hasn't been released yet that kinda makes it hard

    I'm figuring something like sysprep.exe /oobe /generalize /shutdown and then capture it?

I hope that Sysprep won't be needed. Probably MS will update the "Media Creation Tool" ISO image periodically like 8.1.
