What does one even do with a .NET "Web File" after downloading it?
*NOTICE* This conflict involves something to do with a 32-bit windows 7 enterprise edition, and not necessarily windows ten of my own home tower, I just made an account on Seven forums and something with their security Is preventing me from posting this issue there that I was hoping to write down quickly, so I'm writing it down here anyway.
So I'm trying to boot up this one program for reading/writing/extracting information on disks for my head instructor, but this one computer I'm working on is missing the correct version of ".Net" to where the program tells me to install the latest one, but the Microsoft site just gives me these "-.web" files that I don't know what to do with, or run on with to fix this issue, so I'm wondering where at least the file location would be on the C:\ drive usually would be so I can just override the file or something? I'm not sure particularly, but I'm going to have to install this manually, or if there Is an .exe that just does that for me, feel free to link me, thanks.
