    Everybody's will be different
As not only is it the installer - it also downloads the updated windows 10 drivers for your system
    Not moi! :)

I'm just waiting for the rest of the computers to get the update/upgrade files.

Are you talking about hard drive space? If so, do you mean too little space for the upgrade?

If that's the case, you'll need to remove some stuff so the upgrade can happen.

Wynona, in the screenshot above is what I am talking about. It doesn't look like there is going to be enough space, does it?

Gahhhhhhh, after having run Windows 10 for the past nine months or so, I'm practically illiterate in Windows 8.1!

What I'm seeing are megabytes, not gigabytes.

For more accurate information, go to Disk Management (in Win 8.1, right click on Start and then on Disk Management) and see how many gigabytes (GB) are free on your C:\ drive.

    6.46GB '$Windows.~BT' folder.

I'm running 8.1 Core, and not even fully updated (just found 2 Important updates available).

W7 Update shows Upgrade to W10 Pro file that has failed to install two times. Tried restart and that didn't work.
Don't know what to do to fix it. Any ideas ?

Leave it be until tomorrow morning, Thomas. More and more of us are getting that and most likely it's Microsoft just testing. Else, there's gonna be a helluva hubaloo tomorrow morning!

I know it's not really the place but quick question.

If I update Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 on my laptop (which came with 8.1 pre-installed), will my OEM key be permanently converted to a Windows 10 one? Can I perform a clean install of Windows 8.1 again in the future and get activated?
