By the way, how can I know the exact name of the setting I want to open in a shortcut like this? Is there a list?
Thank you again, I think this'll come in handy. I love customizing my windows and I ended up here several times for the answers I was looking for in the past. I'm glad I finally became a member of this forum.
I don't know of a direct keyboard shortcut, but you could use the keyboard shortcut Win + I which directs you to the settings, then you go to the night light settings. You could also enter ms-settings:nightlight, like others said.
This among all things could really use an on/off keyboard shortcut.
Since I tend to work with photos fairl often and need calibrated colours, having to click and change some settings all the time seems like a pain in the arse.
I guess it's still better to use that f.lux program.
Hi, the best way is to create a shortcut (RMB, New, Shortcut) and point it to ms-settings:nightlight - then right click new shortcut and select Properties and add a Shortcut Key in the Web Document tab - suggest N (or whatever you want) then the keyboard shortcut would be CTRL + ALT + N ........ Hope this helps
Another easy method to turn the Night Light feature on or off is using the Quick Actions menu in the Notification area.
Click the Notifications button on the immediate right of the Taskbar (or Win key + A) to open the panel and then click expand.
If you expect to be changing it often, you may leave the menu expanded and then 3 clicks and you're done.
The advantage is you can utilize this switching method without minimizing windows to expose the Desktop.
Also you can observe the subjective changes while viewing your subject matter.
The winver used here is 2004. I'm still searching for a right-click context menu solution.
