Fonts will not install after KB4019472

After installing KB4019472 for Windows 10 1607 This is the May 9 CU update, fonts will no longer install and IE will not display downloaded fonts. Has anyone else come across this and found any fix? I have tested on a clean install with no policy changes, firewall enabled etc.

    Thanks!

Hi, could you clarify to which build you are referring?
    - your text says 1607- that's the Anniversary build. But then you refer to the CU update. (4019472 also applied to 1607).
    - your specs say 1703 - that's the Creator's build.

    I'm not sure what
IE will not display downloaded fonts.
means - do you mean you can't see a list of the files you downloaded? Or are you trying to get IE to display a font?

    Thanks!

I am referring to 1607 and that KB correct is for 1607.

Sorry ignore my stats in regards to this thread as it is for my current running PC which is 1703

Any website that uses a custom font, for example this url Font Awesome Icons it will not display. It doesn't allow the font, creates a css error when you look at the debugger. But this is related to not being able to install system fonts.

    Hello iamrusso,

Does you company have Symantec DLP software installed on your computers (note: it does not show up in add/remove programs)? If you do, it is located C:\Program Files\Manufacturer If so, then that is the problem, there is an update you can get from Symantec if that is the case.

WIndows is sandboxing fonts now, so there might a conflict. Do you have fonts download enabled?
