I will check it out. He does guarantee his work. So if
    I don't like it,
I can always return it and get my money back. The computer is selling for $200. He is offering me $135 for my Laptop as a trade in. I have $15 to put down on it as well. All I will owe is $65. He is getting me a keyboard and speakers. I will have to purchase a monitor or get one from him.
Show him the required specs for your editing software and see if he can build one within your price range.

Will do! As far as having a computer built, the guy wanted to charge me $400 to have it built and I didn't charge his sister anything, but the flash drive to put her pictures on. So no, I will not be using him. He could at least return the favor.
Is that using new or used parts? For $400.00 he may be just charging you for the price of the parts.

I will do that. I will print it off tonight and take the specs to him when he calls me and tells me the HP is ready.

So I gave the requirements for my computer to the local computer shop that is building and setting up my PC. The computer I am getting meets all of the requirements except for the VRAM. They said I would have to pay an extra $80 for them to order and put an extra video card for the VRAM in it and then it should be okay. With my trade in for my Laptop, I have given them $180 for the computer.

That's still not a bad price. It should be ready by tomorrow. I will try it out and decide if I need more VRAM which the Photography Club that I am in said I needed at least 1 GB to 4 GB of VRAM.

They ran into a problem with the computer. The motherboard can't be upgraded. So, they are looking at other options for me. You see, the guy that's building the computer has a son that is similar to me with Aspergers Syndrome (Autism). I thank him very much for taking his time and getting it right for me.

Update: Okay, so they have ordered me a computer that came in today as well as a newer model HP monitor with an HDMI hookup that I am getting along with the package. Supposedly, they are custom building it. I will be paying $180 for it and I will pick it up on September 1st.

Sounds good Jesse, as long as it meets the spec's of your program it should be fine.

Update: Change of plans on the computer I am getting. A few people from my church has decided to go in together to purchase me a computer. The following link will take you to the computer that was purchased for me. https://www.amazon.com/HP-Pavilion-5...vilion+500+550. They realize that my family and I have a hard time financially, so they are purchasing this as a gift for me.
