Hi

I really hope someone could help. I have a fabulous sounding Logitech N700 lap desk - speakers and fan combo. Worked fine on Windows 7, stopped working after up-date but managed to get it working after getting it to appear in Devices after up-grade. However, that laptop died (RIP :-( ) and I'm now using a pre-installed Windows on an Acer Aspire 5.

The lap desk is shown in devices, recognised and listed in Sound Video and Game Controllers, but not shown as a playback device.

The fan works and the sound controller on the lap desk turns the volume of the on board speakers up and down, but the sound is still coming through the onboard speakers, not the lap desk.

It definitely still works as I can just plug and play it on my friend's MacBook.

I've done everything I can find online from a Google search, and nothing has fixed the issue - including trying to change the generic drivers to Windows High Definition Audio, away from Realtek, and trying to up-date the Realtek drivers - both of which just stopped the sound all together.

The sound on my laptop is so low I can barely hear it so I would really love to resolve this. I hope someone can come up with something that isn't readily available elsewhere to fix it as I believe I've tried them all. Thank you.
