    Windows 10 icons


    Can I use classic icons on the start page instead of tiles? I do not like the tiles.

    Welcome to 10F rilbet2 ! :)

    You could look into the following link, it's a heck of a lot of work though, and only for Win32 programs.
    I always wanted to try it for Windows 10 but never got around to it. If you try one and it works, post your results and, happy computing! :)

    What do you mean, "classic icons"? Where?

    I don't use the "tile apps" either. All I do is unpin them and forget about them (I also uninstall all the ones that I can).

    What "icons" are you talking about, exactly?

    When I say " Classic " icons, I mean the icons that were used for many years before Windows 8 tiles came along.

    I think the OP means; rather than tiles (1), they would like just icons (2):
