I'm still seeing start menu ads dispite turning them off

    Good day all.
I hate in app ads. If it were up to me I'd never buy another Microsoft product ever. Unfortunately my brand new laptop came with windows 10 and I'm still seeing start menu ads despite having disabled the "Occasionally show suggestions in Start" toggle.
I would appreciate any help to get rid of them.
    Best regards.

Hello BreadedChicken, and welcome to Ten Forums.

The Occasionally show suggestions in Start setting is only for the Suggested apps shown in the All Apps list in the Start menu instead.

You can also turn off automatic installation of suggested apps to completely stop them. Be sure to also read the blue note box at the top of the tutorial below for more info.

    Thank you so vey much.
Maybe it shouldn't have bothered me that much (first world problems, right?), but it did make me sick to my stomach every time I opened my start menu.
    I really appreciate your help.
