imho; simplest, if you use these infrequently, is just hide them (r-click/properties/attributes). You can always unhide if something gets put in them. Why beat your head against a wall or just see them in another location ?

In my experience, backup and file copy software and robocopy get hung up on those folders, even when they're empty. I'm guessing it's something to do with default permission for each folder, even though I have administrator privileges. This feels like another example of Microsoft fixing something that wasn't broken.
