Can't Boot (and No Access To Safe Boot)

I ran out of hard drive space during an operation, so erased some personal files, and tried to re-boot, but it gets stuck a second after those circular dots start to rotate.

I can't get to booting in safe mode either. Tried assigning the boot mode to legacy so I can use the F8 key, but no luck.

When I get to repair attempts they fail.

I have a boot USB drive with my Windows 10 on it. I tried that to get to safe mode, but the Start Up Settings tab is replaced with "UEFI Firmware Setting."

Any idea what I can do?

    Thanks.

    Hi jimlau.

If you want to get to safe mode start your machine, when you see the dots press and hold power button until it shuts down. When it shuts off power on again and when you see the dots, hold power button until it powers off. Power on again and it should take you to the advance Startup.

From there you could try a restore. Here is our tutorial.

I tried that, but it gets me to the same place - the Start Up Settings tab is replaced with "UEFI Firmware Setting."

    Is it a lost cause?

Did you restore your BIOS setting. You had said you went in and changed to legacy so you could use F8. Set that back to what is was and retry, please.
