    Perma-hide taskbar

Simple question. Is there a way to get rid of the taskbar in Windows permanently? It seems like such a simple idea but I've yet to see a native answer. Any registry tweaks? Anything?

    Thanks,

Oh hey, thank you very much. I'll probably be using that - however, is there a way to do it natively?

Update: oh no, this doesn't do the trick for me. It runs in the background (and I have OCD for tweak apps that run in the background) and when I bring my mouse to the bottom of the screen, it still appears, looking bugged up, too.

Satisfactory. Thanks. Only problem is that it left a clear space where the taskbar should have been at the bottom of the screen. The workaround was that I moved that taskbar to my second monitor, and it seems to have completely vanished... for now.

    Thanks again both of you.

Maybe making it transparent and then removing it, might do the trick.

No, unfortunately it did not, but thank you once again. Cheers.
