When posting a Home key which part do I post, that last 5 or the first 5? I wanted to see if the home key is duplicated on 10240 as well. I am going to do a test as well. I am going to try a clean install and see if it activates without a Microsoft account.
In this case Permanently Activated isn't really permanently activated. Not the way some of you are thinking. I get the same thing if I run that command on my Windows 8.1 PC. I take it to mean your not running a trial version or VL KMS activation etc. If Microsoft blacklists that key you'll fail activation. As far as I know Windows tries to verify activation status every time you boot up. I get that same message on build 10240, and I have not opted out of the insiders program. I originally did an upgrade from Windows 7.
I think so yes, I haven't seen anything to say otherwise? If nothing happens after the 29th, just opt out and see what happens. See this post, Windows 10 Build 10240 for PC is now available
