There are no more files and ASUS Data Security Manager

I've been having the same issues trying to save files.

I followed all of the steps but ASUS Data Security Manager keeps reappearing. How do I really get it to delete? I've done the uninstall four times and it just pops back in the list.

It keeps popping up for me too, but after I disabled it the first time all was fixed and the problem hasn't popped up again even with ADSM running. Good luck!

I'm still getting the no more files error....this is really messing up my work...I've got to get this fixed. I can't even switch to another computer since I can't backup my files - can't save them to any other device...

I notice that if I was working on a file, making some changes, I could save it over and over without problems. The problem was when I tried to save it with another name or after having create a new file.
No idea if this can help.

Exactly those issues plus you can't choose a destination (so no saving files from emails, etc). I have to be able to do all those things for my work...we don't have an IT dept so I have to figure this out ASAP...

If the Asus program is not uninstalling properly, use Revo Uninstaller. Be sure to use the Advanced Mode, which removes all remnants from the Registry. If the Asus program is not in the Uninstall List, use Hunter Mode.

Go to Start/Search and type Services.msc and press enter. Find ADSM service, double click it and Stop the service.
Now go to Start/Search and type appwiz.cpl and press enter. In the Program and Features, uninstall ASUS data security management program. Restart the computer.
After spending much of the day trying everything I could, I just used your solution to finally fix my wife's computer!

    Thanks! :)

still getting error after revo uninstall

I also experienced the data security manager reappearing after I uninstalled several times. Took the advice just now to download Revo Uninstaller, and then used it to uninstall Asus Data Security Manager. I was not sure what to do with all the leftover registry items. I looked in the Revo user guide online and in several other online posts, some said 'bad idea don't delete them' others said they delete them all. I skipped deleting the registry items, to be on the safe side and proceeded, then restarted, and now I still have the error message "there are no more files". Suggestions where to go from here?

These two steps did the job for me, fixed that damned "There are no more files" message problem. Thank you "spunk."
