    Gaming PC

Hi! I need your help building a gaming rig.
This is gaming purpose 1440p or if it can handle 4k resolution the better.

    Cougar Panzer Max
    Ryzen 5 1600
    Msi b350m Gaming Pro
    Corsair Vengeance 16GB Dual DDR4 2666 C16 (CMU16GX4M2A2666C16)
    Palit GTX 1080ti Super Jetstream
    Or Palit GTX 1070 Jetstream
    Seasonic m12ii 620w modular
I already have hard disk and ssd

    My question.
    1. Does r5 1600 can give better FPS on Gtx 1080ti on 1440p or 4k? Because if not? I will go to Gtx 1070.
    2. Can a 620w seasonic handle Gtx 1080ti?

My tv is sony x800d 4k.

    Hi,

So 1st A Computer will give better performance on lower resolution no matter what, since the less power needed for the rendering and aliasing the faster the frames. 1080ti will absolutely outperform the 1070 by 20-30% (Percentage approximate).

The most probable answer to your second question would be yes it would be enough even for overclocking.

Hope this helps, don't hesitate to ask any other questions.

    Tnx for the reply.

Do you think my build will have a minimum 60 fps on 4k on majority games?

    Hi,

On 4k most probably the Ryzen 1600 would not be a problem to run around 70-90fps

but here is a demonstration (russian) test on 4k:
    Battlefield 1 - AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (3.8GHz) + GTX 1080 Ti - Ультра - Ultra - UHD 2160p - YouTube
