    Swapping keys

    This problem seems almost bizarre. Since I installed a wireless mouse and re-paired my keyboard and mouse I've found that highlighting a single file within a folder and clicking ATL+A to select all the files in the list no longer works. Today I discovered that the function does work if I use CTL+A. At least the function works but it's awkward having to use a new combination of keys. It seems as though the functions normally assigned to the ALT key now works on the CONTROL key. Is there a way to change that? Can keys be reassigned functions within Windows 10 Home?

    The key combination to select all files, text, etc. is and always has been CTRL + A. You must have had some third party app installed to remap that functionality.

    @hsehestedt is correct.
    If you WANT to remap keys though...you'll want to use SharpKeys.
    SharpKeys has been around since the Windows XP days. The link below has a link to SharpKeys and a brief tutorial.

    Thanks a lot for the response, guys. Maybe I need to rewire my brain. Got another quick question. How to I change my profile. I have a different computer from when I registered for the group. I don't find any edit key when looking at the profile.

    Up to the right of your Name and My Profile, click Settings, can change there, several choices on left column.
