    Windows 10 Upgrade Question

Does anyone know yet if there will be a way to request a physical copy of Windows 10 if you are using the free upgrade? I would love to have a physical copy as a backup and would prefer an official copy of such to just putting it on a USB drive or using an ISO from somewhere online.

Was just curious if Microsoft had said anything on this front but I hadn't been able to find an answer in my admittedly brief search.

When Win10 actually gets released, some time after that, you should be able to order it in "box" form from any of the standard online software sellers. But, don't expect to see it available before the middle of August.

I don't think you will be able to get a free upgrade with physical media. You may be able to order it for a small fee, but more than likely you will just download the ISO directly from Microsoft and burn it yourself.
