    Missing windows

So my Google chrome and file explorer were open when I started up a game on my computer, since then the windows have vanished. I can go to my taskbar and close and reopen them both but the window doesn't appear. When I mouse over them in the taskbar it shows the window is open but it's nowhere to be seen. I tried using the alt spacebar m combo to move and I still can't find it

    Hi try
How to Move a Lost, Off-Screen Window Back to Your Desktop
    No. 12 here perhaps:
Recover OffScreen Window in Windows 8 - Super User

Do they appear in the ALT TAB list?
If so, try holding ALT down all the time, then TAB, then an arrow key to select the window, then space bar.
(Unless that's what you've already tried, of course!)

If the above works great. If it does not then see if this helps:
Hold down control + shift keys with your left hand and then repetitively click the t key with your right hand. This typically reopens windows. In case it does not click the url area until it changes to highlighted blue and try the control + shift and repetitively click the t key again.

The other alternative is to view the browser history and then open the desired link.
