    questions

Hiyya Shawn again - I am on the cusp of doing the same thing with my secondary laptop just cloning the 7 drive and use the cloned drive to install 10 onto keeping my programs etc etc Now I have the original ISO which I think is the Pro version which was sent to me and the 7 is the Home version I shall be installing over is there going to be a problem?
The other option is to make another ISO that is up to date I suppose

The other little thing I wanted to ask is that on the desktop that already has 10 installed I seem only to be able to search with Bing which I have never liked and would rather have Google as my browser. I know IE has gone but I cannot find the settings for the browser like the one that used to let one choose to choose in IE options as to how one browses.

I shall be free for a quite a while in a weeks time when the laptop will be done fixed but I would like to know about these queries in plenty of time so that I can do some researching.

    Hello John @ICIT2LOL :)

Since it's Windows 7 Home Premium, you would lose everything if you install Windows 10 Pro over it. You would only have the option to keep everything if you install Windows 10 Home for the same edition.

Internet Explorer is still in Windows 10. Look in Start -> All apps -> Windows Accessories -> Internet Explorer

You can also change search engines in Microsoft Edge to Google. The tutorial below can help show you.

IE is not gone, just a bit hidden, version is 11 and works just fine.

Yeah, once you have time to play with it more, you'll find that it will start getting more and more familiar. :)
