A folder named "Removable Storage Devices" suddenly on my desktop.

After doing a few things on my computer I closed my software and immediately noticed a folder named Removable Storage Devices (I never put folders on my desktop). Inside the folder it shows the available devices and drives. I don't know how it got there and it wasn't there earlier.

Can someone tell me where this is supposed to be? I am afraid to move or delete in case that disables my devices.

    Thanks.

This appears to be a glitch, lately, with a few virtual instances of Removable Drives and sometimes Quick Access.
If you right click on the Desktop and click Refresh, it should disappear.

Only just found this thread which seems to be the same issue as I am experiencing:

Ghost folder occasionally appearing on desktop. Any ideas ? - Windows 10 Forums

Perhaps one to report with the Feedback Hub... oh, wait a minute, that is broken as well after the latest update

It's back, must be related to the October 2018 update that was re-released in December.
Refresh the desktop removes it but only temporarily.

Interesting, I haven't noticed it appear in 1809 and I'm pretty sure not in 1803 either. Still doing all the same kind of stuff that used to cause it to appear as well. All my installs have been clean installs, not upgrade installations.

Well despite posting the above, the latest cumulative update seems to have has seen a return of this issue for me. Nothing else has changed system wise, only the installation of the latest update roundup.
