    gvr background window 3

Whenever I shutdown or restart my PC, it appears to prevent my shutdown. Do you know what it is?

Assuming you haven't already Googled for it, does this help?

Thank you, I have read the page before, but it provides no good information.

    windows 10 professional version 1607 build 14393.969 64 bit

Check your shut down and boot times after each of these steps:
    In administrative command prompt run:
    1) sfc /scannow
If there were integrity violations that were not repairable then run dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
If there were no integrity violations or if integrity violations were fixed perform clean boot:

    2) open control panel > troubleshooting > on left pane click view all > run power troubleshooter

    3) Keyboard: win + r simultaneously > type powercfg.cpl > on left pane click on choose what the power buttons do > click on change settings that are currently available > uncheck fast start up > save changes

    4) open administrative command prompt or administrative powershell and type: shutdown /s

    5) open administrative command prompt or administrative powershell and type: Shutdown.exe -s -t 00

Check the time for shutdown and start up for each of the above steps and indicate the results.
