    Retrieve Photos


    Is there anyway to retrieve possibly deleted photos or photos that are present on my backup drive?

    Yes, check your recycle bin.

    Otherwise, if you SHIFT deleted them (permanently) or emptied the bin, it depends. If you have written data to the drive since deletion the disk space may have been overwritten.

    If not, any of the many data recovery programs will do that. Just search for
    data recovery freeware

    Just like dalchina said, if you didn't empty your recycle bin, you can directly restore by choosing the files in Recycle Bin and right click the item to restore.

    If not, I also know another great software - ApowerRecover, which can scan and recover deleted files. If you don't find it through general search, you can click "Deep Scan" to search more thoroughly. You can have a try.

    Recuva is a great Free Program that looks for deleted files.
    For deeper search, I have had the best luck with GetDataBack. You will need another drive of the same size or larger to restore your files to.
